CodesLook License – Regular License

Last revised: March 11, 2025

1. License Overview

The Regular License grants you, the purchaser, a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the digital item (the “Item”) you purchased from CodesLook. This license allows you to create one final product (End Product) for yourself or for one client. Distribution of that End Product is allowed only for free, unless transferred to your client.

2. What You Can Do

  1. Create a Single End Product:
    • Use the Item to create one final product (e.g., a website, app, graphic, or document) for yourself or one client.
  2. Transfer to a Client:
    • You can transfer the End Product and the license to a client for any fee.
  3. Modify and Combine:
    • Edit, combine, or create derivatives of the Item, as long as the final End Product is allowed under this license.
  4. Make Free Copies:
    • You can distribute copies of the End Product for free without limits.

3. What You Cannot Do

  1. Cannot Sell to Multiple Clients:
    • You may sell the End Product to one client only. For multiple commercial uses, purchase an Extended License.
  2. Cannot Redistribute the Item:
    • Do not share or resell the Item itself or source files, even if modified.
  3. Cannot Use in Customizable Products:
    • Do not use the Item in applications that allow end-users to customize or extract it (e.g., “build your own” apps).
  4. Cannot Use Components Separately:
    • Individual components of the Item cannot be used independently.
  5. Cannot Use in Logos or Trademarks:
    • The Item may not be used in logos, trademarks, or service marks.
  6. Illegal or Sensitive Use Prohibited:
    • You may not use the Item in ways that are illegal, defamatory, obscene, or misleading.

4. Other Terms

  1. Third-Party Components:
    • Some items include third-party components (fonts, images) with separate licenses. These apply to that component only.
  2. Open Source or GPL Components:
    • If an item is under GPL or another open-source license, the open-source license applies to that component.
  3. License Termination:
    • Violation of this license may result in termination. You must stop using or distributing the End Product until compliance is restored.
  4. Ownership:
    • The original author retains ownership of the Item. You are granted a license to use it under these terms.

5. Key Definitions

TermMeaning
End ProductThe final product created using the Item, requiring skill and effort.
FreeNo fee is paid by the end user to access the End Product.
Sell/SoldAny fee-based transfer, licensing, or distribution of the End Product.
